What is Berachain? 🐻⛓️

EVM Compatibility

Berachain operates identically to the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) for its execution layer, using unmodified like Geth, Reth, and Erigon to run smart contracts. This means Berachain can seamlessly adopt EVM updates, such as Dencun, without modifications.

Proof-of-Liquidity (PoL)

Proof-of-Liquidity is a designed to reward ecosystem liquidity. It enhances trading efficiency, price stability, chain security, and network growth by aligning the incentives of validators, protocols, and users.

Native dApps Utilizing PoL

Berachain's PoL framework is implemented in native dApps like (decentralized exchange), (financial services), and , all contributing to a secure and efficient blockchain environment.
