In the Beravote platform, there are three main parts to the voting process: spaces, proposals, and votes. Here's what they mean:

  • Spaces: Think of a space as a home base for an organization or community. It's like a profile where all the action happens.

  • Proposals: These are ideas or suggestions that people can bring to the space. Proposals are what you vote on.

  • Votes: This is how people say "yes" or "no" to a proposal. The votes determine if a proposal passes or not.

Everything starts with a space. It's where the community gathers, and it's linked to the organization running it. People can create proposals in this space, and then everyone gets a chance to vote on them. The owners of the space decide how the voting process works. They can set rules about who can create proposals and who can vote.

For example, the owners might say that only people who have at least 2,000 of a certain token can create a proposal. They might also set rules about how much voting power someone has based on how many tokens they own. So, if someone has more tokens, their vote might count for more.

Connect Wallet to BeraVote

To begin, go to . Click on the Connect Wallet button located at the top right corner of the homepage. Select your wallet provider from the list.

You can use the toggle button to switch between the Berachain testnet and mainnet. This feature allows you to view spaces that are in the testnet and those that have migrated to Berachain mainnet.

By default, the list of spaces is shown on mainnet. When you toggle the button, you'll see the spaces on testnet.
